I should’ve bought Bitcoin

Bitcoin is about to breach $10,fucking000.00 for 1 coin. I know they’re really just a bunch of digital bits you can’t hold in your hand. But I’m one of those nimrods that wants to squeeze their nuts in a vice for not listening to their 2009 self (and his very very, really really smart friend) for not investing at least $20.00 for just a few hundred of them only to say that I owned them. But what makes it worse is, I had my chance in 2010, 2011, 2012 (I even helped produce the East Coast Bitcoin Conference in mid December {shout-out to Jim B, Mike S & gang}), 2013, 2014, 2016 and early 2017 and still I invested nothing. It became too late. So now with the minimal fraction of a Bitcoin I currently do own, I can at least have fun watching that little bit do something for now. And there’s also the other alt-coins I’ve recently gotten into {ETH & IOTA} which are having some successes right now as well. So I’ve learned my lesson. Get into cryptocurrency. Well, that and listen to your really smart friends. Don’t wait. Yes, it’s hard. Hell, I don’t even know it all the way still. And there’s so much positive news and negative news about each to weed through to help make well or poorly informed decisions. What I’m saying is, it’s a lot easier to jump in now than it was in 2009. Though what sucks is…even if I did buy them back in 2009, I probably would’ve just cashed them out at some point or another over those 8 years, like I’ve been hearing lately, from other geeks posting in community. But it’s still cheese I missed putting in my pockets, and obviously I’m still bitter about it. But just as a BIG side note, I did own (but did not control) 2 Bitcoin up until April 2017, which I decided to sell off at $2500 each to help pay for my wedding. So it helped me out a little and for a excellent reason. But I’m most mad at and writing about 2009 me here, not 2014–2017 me. And you might have asked yourself, “why didn’t he mention 2015 earlier?” Well, that’s because that’s the year I almost died. Money doesn’t fucking matter to you during that time. So if you feel alive, get into cryptocurrency. If not now, then make it a New Years resolution. Though you’ll definitely miss out on earning few hundred bucks by then. But don’t worry. That’s just part of the experience anyway.
